Joining Playback

Often after seeing Playback or doing a workshop people want to join up. The first step is to attend Public performances and introduce yourself to Company members and have a conversation with our Artistic Director about your interest, experience and what is involved.

Expression of interest and/or initial audition may be required before you are invited to join with us as a “performer in training” and commit to regular rehearsals and training with the company over a six month period. This six month training costs $300. Scholarships are available.

After six months you may be asked to undertake further training with us and/or you may be ready to join as a company member and eventually be ready to perform in public.
