Jen Barrkman

Jen has twenty five years experience as a group and story facilitator, community psychologist and oral historian. She focuses on encouraging people’s active participation in small and large groups (group supervision, training, workshops, forums and conferences). Jen has also undertaken numerous oral history and community projects to enable people’s story to be told using digital, written and creative mediums.

Jen has worked in and with organisations such as Myer, Main Roads, Griffith University, Queensland Alliance, Queensland Advocacy Inc, Queensland Parents of People with Disability, Carers Queensland, ARAFMI Mental Health Carers, Multicultural Development Association, Department of Housing, New Farm Neighbourhood Centre, Workforce Council, Community Resource Unit, Queensland University of Technology.
